Employers can access a free online course to ensure they understand their employer superannuation guarantee obligations.
The course is available on the ATO website and takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
The employer superannuation course is voluntary and available to any Australian employer to access. A certificate of competency is issued upon successful completion (where a participant achieves a score of 80% or more).
Topics covered range from why it’s important to pay superannuation, how to calculate, when and how to pay, and what to do if you miss a payment.
